15th June, 2014...Vintage outfits at the ready...!

It's been a hot and humid weekend...lovely weather for an Abbey walk!

Frankie has taken to wearing his vintage Vans for walking!

Talking of vintage...not long now until our World War 1 commemoration event, so we were thrilled to find out that the Dock Museum were hosting another Vintage Fair....and off we all headed to find our outfits!!

The girl singing vintage songs was excellent...we didn't find out who she was?

And after much searching (and lunch) we found what we were looking for!!

Thanks to Grace for her impeccable taste!A not vintage, but BRAND NEW Ferrari at Abbey House yesterday for the weekly wedding!

It was lovely at the Dock Museum....yachts were heading out to sail around Walney and Jubilee Bridge was raised....it was the first time Frankie has seen it raised in his 11 and three quarter years in Barrow! He was very impressed!

Beezer annual....remember that!!! And I loved Judy, especially 'The Four Marys' about the girls boarding school...bullies were always portrayed with angry, scrunched up faces...easy to spot in those days!!

Can't beat an Abbey Mill hot chocolate though!

A week of Forest Schools and Piel Island trips to work on this week.....I wonder who will still be standing on Friday!!
