Furness Abbey looked stunning today....and Barrow has had the best May weather for a long time.....
...always time for a spot of morning tea at Abbey Mill Café....
...no Frankie though...he's been floored right in the middle of his exams too....
....mainly because of these!!
My colleagues and I took advantage of the lovely settled weather and walked our two classes down to Furness Abbey for an impromptu look around the site, a little messing about with boats and of course, the customary Abbey Mill ice cream!
We did laugh when a bunch of cows joined our lesson (actually I think they were bullocks!)
....and you've got to dress up as medieval monks if you visit!!
Great fun....but goodness me....IT WAS HOT!!!
The SteveHillman camera got to visit another one of our favourite venues earlier in the week...
Lovely views and beautiful gardens at Brantwood!
...and a happy Birthday for yesterday to my colleague Mr. Leigh- I think we've been teaching together now for 26 years!!
