A quiet, grey day, and by the time we got down here today, it was a balmy 7 degrees! After a rather hectic week, it was nice to come down here and just walk, far away from the crowds and fried onion smells of Portland Walk earlier!

Gonzo Design has helped us make some postcards of the Abbey, using various photographic images( look out for the snowy one we took last December, that's the best!), and with the Abbeywatch blog adress included. You can pick them up from various places, and if you are feeling very Christmassy make a donation to the Abbey Fellowship Group!

Don't know what this woman was doing at the top of the ampitheatre but she gave us quite a shock, appearing out of the mist.

This photo was taken at 1.35pm today,  and it already looks like twighlight!

Steve Hillman took this photo on our way out this morining, from Rakesmoor Lane by the golf club. He doesn't go anywhere without his camera these days! We moan about Barrow sometimes, but we do live in a beautiful place, if truth be known!
